Food hygiene ratings given to two Barking and Dagenham restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Palwan Da Dera, at 733 Green Lane, Dagenham was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 16.

And Sunny's Cafe, at Unit 6 Rippleside Commercial Estate, Ripple Road, Dagenham was given a score of four on December 15.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 161 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 82 (51%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
