New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Barking and Dagenham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: MGP at 33 Longbridge Road, Barking; rated on December 27

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: De Lounge at 2 Linton Road, Barking; rated on January 16

• Rated 5: The Acorn at 201-203 Longbridge Road, Barking; rated on December 29
