A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sunflower, a takeaway at 771 Becontree Avenue, Dagenham was given the score after assessment on September 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 213 takeaways with ratings, 96 (45%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
