A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Star Pizza & Kebab, a takeaway at 23 High Road, Chadwell Heath was given the score after assessment on January 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 215 takeaways with ratings, 101 (47%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
