A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Falafel Queen, a takeaway at Unit G12 Chadwell Heath Industrial Park, Kemp Road, Dagenham was given the maximum score after assessment on March 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 200 takeaways with ratings, 68 (34%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
