A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

New Blossom Garden, a takeaway at 384 Ripple Road, Barking was given the minimum score after assessment on June 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 203 takeaways with ratings, 80 (39%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
