A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

BGR Romford, a takeaway at 691a Green Lane, Dagenham was given the score after assessment on August 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 217 takeaways with ratings, 101 (47%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
