A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Express Chicken, a takeaway at 7 Goresbrook Road, Dagenham was given the score after assessment on March 29, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 222 takeaways with ratings, 106 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
