A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Chicken Spot, a takeaway at 110 High Road, Chadwell Heath was given the score after assessment on January 18, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 216 takeaways with ratings, 100 (46%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
