A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Chubby Friar Fish and Chips LTD, a takeaway at 353 Ripple Road, Barking was given the score after assessment on June 18, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 203 takeaways with ratings, 80 (39%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
