A Barking and Dagenham takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Lucky Inn, a takeaway at 6 Faircross Parade, Longbridge Road, Barking was given the maximum score after assessment on January 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 215 takeaways with ratings, 101 (47%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
