A Barking and Dagenham restaurant has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

China Friend Restaurant, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 36 Longbridge Road, Barking was given the score after assessment on July 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 180 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 93 (52%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
