A Barking and Dagenham restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Squires Cafe & African Restaurant ltd, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Unit G2 Chadwell Heath Industrial Park, Kemp Road, Dagenham was given the score after assessment on August 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 178 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 92 (52%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
