A Barking and Dagenham restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Curry Mahal Tandoori, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 27 Goresbrook Road, Dagenham was given the score after assessment on November 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 176 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 94 (53%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
