A Barking and Dagenham restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

McDonald's Restaurants Ltd, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Mcdonald'S, Ballards Road, Dagenham was given the maximum score after assessment on June 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 180 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 96 (53%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
