McDonald’s is set to support the Lionesses’ FIFA Women’s World Cup journey in the capital this week. The restaurant chain will honour their second match of the 2023 competition by handing out free breakfast to footy fans.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup kicked off last Thursday (July 20), with the Lionesses taking to the pitch for the first time on Saturday (July 22). To mark their entrance into the competition, McDonald’s hosted celebrations in Brighton.

McDonald’s will continue their support for the Lionesses in the capital this Friday (July 28). The London festivities will honour their second game of the competition, which will see them go head-to-head against Denmark.

To mark the match, the fast food chain will be showing the game as well as offering free breakfast to football fans, including bacon rolls and cheese flatbreads, as well as McCafe coffee.
