Winter Wonderland will return to London's Hyde Park this month for the 2023 festive season. For those heading to the annual bonanza, here's when it opens and how you can get in without spending a penny.

During its two-month takeover of Hyde Park, Winter Wonderland will no doubt welcome many Londoners and visitors from further afield for Yuletide fun.

Those planning on heading to the attraction will need a ticket to enter. However, guests may be able to get into the event's site for free by booking to visit at specific times.

We break down when city locals and visitors can head to this year's Winter Wonderland and how to enter the festivities for free. 

When does Winter Wonderland open?

The festive Hyde Park attraction will open on November 17 and will stay put at the capital's famous green space until January 1. The only day Winter Wonderland will not be open over the holiday period is Christmas Day (December 25).

How to go to Winter Wonderland 2023 for free

Those wanting to save their money for inside the Winter Wonderland festivities can enter the event for free during off-peak times. However, as mentioned above, visitors will still need to book a ticket before they arrive, which they can do on the Winter Wonderland website.
