The Wicked cast are coming to the UK capital as part of a global tour ahead of the new movie’s release this November.

Elphaba and Glinda actresses Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande have revealed they are heading to London as part of a global tour in honour of the upcoming Wicked movie. Their visit aims to bring a bit of wickedness to our capital city as they bring a slice of the world of OZ to London.

The Wicked stars’ London stop-by was announced in a teaser video on Thursday (October 10) across the movie’s social media which saw Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande confirm they would also be heading to four other city destinations worldwide as part of a global Wicked tour named the Journey Through Oz Tour.

As well as London the duo will also be heading to Sydney, Los Angeles, Mexico City and New York.

In the clip Erivo explains: “We wanted you to be the first to know that we’re bringing wickedness across the globe.” Grande added: “This November we’ll be travelling to five cities around the world transforming each  special stop into a different magical location from the film.”

The pair went on to hint that on the tour the pair will also be joined by some of their other ‘ozians’ including the Wizard of Oz himself Jeff Goldblum.

In a second video on the UK Universal Pictures social media pages, Erivo and Grande shared a bit more about their upcoming visit as they said they’ll be swapping the land of Oz for the streets of London.

While the videos didn’t elaborate further on what exactly the global Journey Through Oz Tour will entail it will no doubt likely involve the colours green and pink in some way or another.

We will update this article with further details when announced.
