The Spiderman actor is set to star in the upcoming production of Romeo & Juliet in London’s West End.

Tom Holland’s latest acting gig will see him swap the glitz and glamour of Hollywood for the West End stage in London as he plays the heartthrob lead in a new production of Romeo & Juliet. 

Holland will be at the centre of Shakespeare’s classic tale of forbidden love and tragedy as Romeo who despite their being members of feuding families falls for Juliet.

While the actor has become a familiar face on screen as part of the Spiderman and Marvel franchises, he is no stranger to the capital’s theatre district.

Holland made his stage debut in the West End at just 12 years old as he played the title role in Billy Elliot The Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre from 2008 to 2010.

Ahead of his London theatre return, here’s when Tom Holland will take to the stage in the new Romeo & Juliet show.

When will Tom Holland appear in Romeo & Juliet in London’s West End?

Performances of the new Romeo and Juliet show at the Duke of York’s Theatre, will start this Saturday May 11. The production will only run for 12 weeks until 3 August 2024.

Across its London stint there will be evening performances from Monday to Saturday with matinee shows from Thursday to Saturday.
