The country changed to BST in March, which allows more daylight throughout the summer months. As the evenings get darker earlier, it’s nearing the time when the clocks change to GMT.

We break down the date those who live in the capital may need to change their clocks back an hour.

Clocks will go back an hour on October 29, the last Sunday of the month. The change will see Londoners able to enjoy an extra hour in bed as at 2am on the day, the clocks will go back to 1am.

While your phones and laptops will usually update with the change automatically, you will have to manually change the time on your car or oven.
