Wembley Park is set to mark the King’s Coronation with an incredible street party featuring live music, food stalls and entertainment.

The free event takes place on Saturday, May 6 from 10am to 4pm at the iconic Olympic Way. The event is packed with family-friendly activities, from magicians to life-size board games for the whole family.

Attendees can watch the Coronation live on a giant screen in front of the National Stadium. There will also be a Royal photo booth, which will allow people to take snaps with a picture of King Charles.

Magicians, face painters, stilt walkers and other entertainers will be spread across the community-focused Samovar Space, with balloon animals and life-size board games keeping youngsters of all ages happy.

A pop-up food market will be serving up all manner of delicious treats from 10am to mark the momentous occasion.

James Greenhough, head of events, Wembley Park said: “The Wembley Park Coronation Celebration will provide a free, fun-filled day for all those wishing to welcome the new King and enjoy the neighbourhood’s community spirit. We have arranged an activity-packed day to appeal to all for this memorable occasion.”

How to get there

You can take the 182, 206, 297, 440 buses to get to Wembley Park. The nearest train stations to the area are Wembley Stadium, Wembley Park Station and the Wembley Central Station.

The Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines operate at Wembley Park Station. At Wembley Central station, you can take the Bakerloo, London Overground, London Midland and Southern lines and at Wembley Stadium Station, you’re able to access the Chiltern Railways.
