Londoners may not realise the famous restaurant chain has a long history with the city. The first UK Burger King opened in the capital in 1976, and almost 50 years on, there are now close to 30 locations spread across London.

Over the years, the chain’s Royale and the Whopper burgers have become a staple on its menu, with Burger King’s latest version offering a spicy twist on the beloved classics thanks to the new flavourful mayo.

For those who love spice and Burger King’s Whopper or Royale, it’s a must-try. The sauce takes the iconic burgers to the next level as it adds a mild kick to the beloved menu items. When trying the Spicy Mayo Royale, in particular, our football writer Rahman Osman described the sauce as "mildly spicy" and added it has a "bit of a kick to it".

Both the Spicy Mayo Royale and Whopper are available now at Burger King restaurants nationwide. Spice fans can find their nearest restaurant using the chain’s store locator.
