The O2 Arena's new rooftop cocktail bar is definitely worth the climb

Up at the O2 is raising the stakes for Friday night fun in London with the launch of its new Summer Sessions event.

Every Friday night from 25th July to 29th August, climbers will be able to enjoy a cocktail and marvel at the London skyline, with a summer soundtrack provided by a live DJ during the extended time of 25 minutes on the roof.

Climbs will be taking place at 7pm, 7.30pm, and 8pm - just in time to capture the perfect golden hour picture.

Climbers will meet at base camp, located beside The O2’s main entrance, and will be taken over the venue’s iconic roof to the 52m-high summit.

This 90-minute guided climb offers a unique experience, perfect for a memorable date or a fun time with friends or family - all while taking in breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views.

Once you're back at the base, you can browse the Up at the O2 gift shop for professional photos and memorabilia, or head into the O2 Arena to grab a bite to eat or do some shopping.

The Summer Sessions climbs are available for £45 per person and are suitable for those aged 18+.
