Tom Jones will perform some of his greatest hits to London crowds this week as part of the 2023 run of Greenwich Summer Sounds. The She’s A Lady singer will headline the music festival on Thursday (July 6).

The It’s Not Unusual hitmaker is one of the Greenwich-based music events’ headline acts that will perform on the lawns of the area’s historic Old Royal Naval College. The Black Eyed Peas and the Kaiser Chiefs will also perform over the 2023 edition of the festival.

Greenwich Summer Sounds is not Jones’ only festival performance in the capital of the year. Last month he also performed to crowds at the Hampton Court Palace festival.

Jones is no stranger to Londoners, having performed in the city many times over the years. Earlier this year, he even treated locals to an intimate gig at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Doors for Tom Jones’ Thursday headline show will open at 5.30pm. The first performance of the night will start at 7.15pm. The final set will wrap around 10.15pm.

Thursday is forecast to have a sunny start, but the sun is expected to take cover behind the clouds just before the evening of music begins. Despite this, Greenwich Summer Sounds attendees can expect temperatures to be in the early 20C’s across the day and into the evening, according to the Met Office.
