The singer, born in Lewisham, was announced on the official Strictly Come Dancing Twitter account just after midday on Monday (8 August).
He joins an illustrious cast that includes the likes of Kym Marsh, Will Mellor and more.

Who is Matt Goss?
Matthew Weston Goss is an English singer-songwriter and musician who is currently based in The United States, but was born in Lewisham and grew up there.
He rose to fame in the 1980s as the lead singer of the band BROs, which featured his twin brother, Luke Goss on the drums.
The band found immediate success, with their debut album, Push, going platinum four times.
The album featured eight top five hits and remained on the U.K. charts for over a year, ending its long run on the charts 54 weeks.
The two eventually went their separate ways, with Luke building a great name for himself in Hollywood, starring in films such as Blade II, Death Race two and more.
Matt, however, remained a musician and as a solo artist, he released five studio albums, the latest of which coming in March this year.
