Soccer Aid is back for another year, with the chance to see your favourite celebrities play 90 minutes of football for charity.

The event draws in some of the biggest names the UK has to offer, such as Stephen Mulhern, Olly Murs and more.

The event, usually held in summer has been announced - with a change of venue and some new celebs participating.

When is Soccer Aid 2022?

Soccer Aid in 2022 will take place on Sunday, 12 June 2022. In the past, the game has been held at the Etihad Stadium, Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford but has had a venue change and will now take place at the London Stadium, home of West Ham United.

Kick off is 7:30pm.

How do I get tickets?

Ticket prices vary depending on category for both adults and children. The categories go from category one to category five.

Category one: Adults - £60 - Child - £30

Category two: Adults - £50 - Child - £25

Category three: Adults £40 - Child - £20

Category four: Adults: £30 - Child - £15

Category five: Adults £20 - Child - £10

You can also purchase premium seats which costs £75 for everyone, or hospitality which costs £350 + VAT.

What are the teams?

Each year, celebrities are mixed with footballing legends, with players such as Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos and more having previously played in Soccer Aid.

The England team is:

  • Liam Payne

Former One Direction star turned solo singer, with hits such as Bedroom Floor, Strip That Down and more. He shares a child with former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl.

  • Lucien Laviscount 

A Soccer Aid debut for Laviscount, who is part of the hit netflix series Emily in Paris, and plays Emily’s (Lily Collins) love interest in season two.

  • Tom Grennan

Grennan enjoyed a solid role in Soccer Aid 2021, and put in a good shift. He is known for his famous music, which includes By Your Side and Little Bit of Love.

  • Chunkz

Somewhat of a Soccer Aid veteran, Chunkz has previously missed crucial penalties in the charity game, something the Youtuber will be sure to rectify this time around.

A famous member of the ‘class of ‘92’, Neville has won it all at a professional level, and was a key component of one of the best Manchester United sides of all time.

  • Jamie Carragher

The heartbeat of a Liverpool defence that won the Champions League in 2005, Carragher can now be found on Monday Night Football.
