Shayne Ward, who won the second series of X-Factor in 2005, has announced that he is going on tour this year, with a date planned for the O2 Academy in Islington, London.

The pop star, known for his songs ‘No U Hang Up’ and ‘If That’s Okay With You’, will revisit his old tunes on the Anthology tour.

Shayne has also announced that his second album, ‘Breathless’, will be reissued on 2LP vinyl, with a release date scheduled for February 24. Fans who pre-order the vinyl will receive a pre-sale link for the upcoming tour dates.

Since his X-Factor success, Shayne has gone on to release four studio albums and 16 singles, including ‘That’s My Goal’ which became Christmas number one in 2005. He has also made his way onto the small screen, starring as Aidan Connor in Coronation Street.

Shayne is set to bring his Anthology tour to the O2 Academy in Islington on April 15 this year. He will also be performing at the O2 Ritz in Manchester on April 9 and SWG Galvanizers in Glasgow on April 12.

The presale for the Anthology tour is live now for fans who have pre-ordered his ‘Breathless’ vinyl.

General tickets to see Shayne Ward will go live on Friday, February 3, at 9am. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster.
