Severance season 3: Cast make surprise appearance in Tower Bridge to celebrate show's renewal
The Apple TV show celebrated its season 3 renewal in a themed stunt right by London’s iconic Tower Bridge.
Severance took over the greenspace right by Tower Bridge this morning for a balloon filled celebration to honour its third season being given the green light.
If you’ve not already heard of the Apple TV show, Severance follows a group of office workers who have undergone a surgical procedure to become a work self.
In particular the procedure divides their memories between their work and personal lives making two versions of consciousness, one for work and one for the weekend.
To mark the recent confirmation that season 3 of the show is in the works, the show popped up in the capital’s Potters Fields Park right by Tower Bridge for a themed stunt today (March 26).
Videos of the event show it was centered around a large-scale blue balloon which a crowd of actors carrying smaller balloons then weaved around.
Between the crowd, stars from the series, including Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, and Gwendoline Christie, were also seen to make a surprise appearance.
Finishing off the flash display the group came together in front of the large balloon with the cast lined together at the front before crowds.
Apple TV confirmed the show had been given the thumbs up for a third series last week, sharing a 20-second teaser video on YouTube.
The caption of the video read: “Cue the choreography and merriment. Severance has been renewed for Season 3.”
