I saw Sabrina Carpenter at BST Hyde Park and OMG she was amazing!

London is definitely in Sabrina Carpenter’s Good Graces after her first BST Hyde Park show.

Despite grey clouds looming over Hyde Park on Saturday and some light rain in the early evening, by the start of Sabrina’s set there was not a drop. Coincidence much?

10 minutes later than expected, the Busy Woman herself finally hit the iconic Great Oak stage around 9pm opening with that very song in a stunning bejewelled red body suit.

Setting the tone for a night of playfulness and down to earth charm for her first of two sold out BST Hyde Park shows, Sabrina continued with Taste and Good Graces before pausing to take in the London crowd.

“Damn nobody showed up,” the pop princess joked with a cheeky smirk as she noted the capital show was one of her biggest shows to date.

It was only two years ago that the singer performed on the same very stage as part of Blackpink’s headline day.

Reflecting on her return to BST Hyde Park, this time as a headline act, Sabrina gushed about how it all felt “very surreal.”

But really it was about time Sabrina got to helm her own day after the massive couple of years she’s had since.

Having opened for Taylor Swift at the Eras tour, releasing the Grammy award winning and certified platinum album Short n’ Sweet, Sabrina has firmly cemented herself as one of the main pop girlies in music.

She’s also been on the road for her Short n’ Sweet tour which stopped in the capital at the O2 Arena for two nights in March.

Although for her summer shows, the classic TV style format fans have come to know and love has had a refresh.

This time Sabrina hosted a Live in London edition which debuted some new staging including a crane style lift moment.

Earlier this week eagle eyed fans spotted Miss Sabrina rehearsing from a crane lift which during her Saturday show she performed Don’t Smile from above the GA standing area.

While Sabrina has sported the Union Jack flag in the past in London for some of her shows, she kept it classy with a little black dress for her second outfit of the night. Although we’d loved to have seen her in a red variation similar to the hue of her first.

Set to do it all again at Hyde Park tonight, we can’t wait to see what she has in store.

We may be in our Nonsense era but we’re hoping she brings out a special guest for the final night.
