The day has been known to change lives, and will largely shape the future for the recipients who will be looking to go onto the next step whether that’s university or straight into work.
It’s the result of years of learning, nurturing, hard times and of course some procrastination, with the destiny of many potentially decided by the results they receive.
A Level results day is a whole day in itself, and after results are picked up early in the morning, you then party the night away with some restaurants offering free food prior to that.
When is A Level results day 2022?
Restaurants offering free food on A Level results day 2022
The first free deal comes from Las Iguanas, with the restaurant, that specialises in Latin American food from Brazil, Mexico and beyond having locations at Southbank and more all over the capital.
The deal here is on Churros, where you can get three free ones (with chocolate or dulce de leche dip) for A-level students on Thursday 18 August and GCSE students on Thursday 25 August.
To be able to successfully obtain this deal, you will have to show ID and proof of your results but there’s no purchase necessary.
A popular restaurant among students and other young people, Nandos is giving away a free quarter chicken or starter.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a complete freebie of a deal, as you have to spend a minimum of £7 in order to qualify for this deal.
The offer is available to A Level students on Thursday, 18 August and to GCSE students who will be receiving their results a week later on Thursday, 25 August.
The offer is available while stocks last.
One of the biggest pizza chains, Pizza Express is offering free dough balls while stocks last.
To redeem this deal, you need to present your official paper or email results at the till.
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants
The world renowned chef, known for his foul mouthed high intensity rants on his numerous cooking shows, but also showing his funny side on shows such as Gino, Gordon and Fred is no stranger to results day as a parent, as one his children, Jack, finishing a degree at the University of Exeter.
Ramsay has restaurants all over the world, with perhaps his most notable restaurant being the one at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, and is giving away a free pizza this week and next.
In a tweet on his official twitter page he said: “It’s results week! Anyone collecting their A Level of GCSE results can celebrate with pizza on me at Street Pizza Southwark this Thursday and next Thursday from 5pm!”
