One of the biggest dates in the music calendar, Record Store Day 2022 is almost here.
Some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Sam Fender, The Cure, Happy Mondays, Blondie and more release special vinyls to celebrate the day.

And in the United States, vinyl records have continued to grow for the 16th consecutive year, a 51 percent increase from 2020.

- Rough Trade East
This year Rough Trade East will provide a pop-up where the bulk of the special RSD stock will be sold, to leave the main shop open for general browsing and live music celebrations.
The store will open at 8am, and there will be live music from the likes of Theon Cross, Tatyna A.R Kane sounds and more from 1pm.

- Casbah Records
Live music from the Spang Sisters at 2:30pm, and a raffle with prizes is just the tip of the iceberg for the many events for the day.
All proceeds will go to the refuge and guide dogs for the blind charities, and the first 20 people arriving will be offered a free beer from Meantime Brewery, whilst the first 30 people arriving will receive free custom design tote bags and badges.
