Raye All Points East 2025 review: Second album is ‘coming along well’ and new single release date confirmed

No stranger to All Points East having supported Jungle back in 2023 at the Victoria Park based festival, this Saturday was all about Raye.

And she made that clear as her name in lights at the centre of the stage backdropped the singer during the whole of her set.

Starting with an incredible rendition of Oscar Winning Tears accompanied by the London-based choir Flames Collective, Raye said she was at a loss for words as she shook her head in disbelief at the sold out crowd of 45,000 that stood before her.

Having seen Raye at her first ever headline show at the O2 Arena last year seeing her perform to a crowd double that felt even more special.

After pausing briefly to take it all in, next was another song from her debut studio album My 21st Century Blues, The Thrill Is Gone before teasing a new single.

While introducing the new track, Where The Hell Is My Husband? Raye hinted that merch at the festival actually featured its upcoming release date, September 19.

Unfortunately there was no word on when fans can expect her second album but Raye later said she thinks it's coming along well.

Even with her flair for the dramatics, wearing her microphone cord and her shoes off throughout the show, Raye really did have Flames Collective and her band wrapped around her finger.

Asking for off the cuff harmonies and dramatic drum finales, fans were lapping up every extra note and chord.

For me a personal highlight was hearing Raye transform some of her early house hits including Bed and You Don’t Know Me in her now signature Jazz style.

Of course rounding the night was her award winning track Escapism which was named the song of the year at 2024 Brit Awards.

Closing the show Raye thanked London fans for “making a little girl's dream come true” as she reflected on all the gigs she’d done to get to where she is now.

Jade at All Points East 2025

After seeing Victoria Monet perform at the London festival last year Jade said she was “gagging” to perform at All Points East and a year on she got to do just that.

Ahead of her upcoming debut solo studio album That’s Showbiz Baby that is set to drop this September, Jade performed some of its singles including It Girl and Plastic Box as well as FUFN which she co-wrote alongside Raye.

Throwing it back to her Little Mix days too, ahead of her Angel Of My Dreams finale Jade rounded her set by saying how grateful she felt to have been in the biggest girl band and how it brought her to where she is now.

FKA Twigs at All Points East 2025

Headlining the West Stage FKA Twigs balanced her soft vocals with techno beats with artsy choreo and staging.

Having only been announced as part of the supporting line up for Raye’s day two days before after Doechii pulled out, everything seemed so polished.

Although it makes sense as FKA Twigs is preparing for a new era with the release of her new album EUSEXUA Afterglow.
