Has Raising Cane's opened in London yet? Spoof TikTok tricks fried chicken fans AGAIN
Don’t believe everything you see online, Raising Cane’s isn’t open in London yet – here’s when (and where) it actually open in the UK capital.
I’m sorry to disappoint you, chicken fans, but unfortunately, Raising Cane’s hasn’t opened in London just yet.

But don’t panic — the American fried chicken chain is still heading for the capital; it just won’t open until late 2026.
If you, like me, were duped by a spoof TikTok, you might have been led to believe that the cult-favourite chicken chain has already opened its doors on Oxford Street. However, that’s all a load of rubbish, not only has Raising Cane’s not opened, but the supposed location isn’t even accurate.
The Louisiana-based brand will actually open in Piccadilly Circus next year, taking over the former Angus Steakhouse site at 21–22 Coventry Street.
A video that reappeared on my TikTok “For You” page this week, originally posted earlier this year, falsely claims the restaurant has opened on Oxford Street. The creator can be seen tucking into the chain’s famous chicken fingers and sauce, with the location tagged as Oxford Circus.
The video, by user @kaiwillnotflop, has racked up more than 145,000 likes, but it’s just one of many clips circulating on social media that have misled fans into thinking Raising Cane’s has finally arrived in the UK.
Raising Cane’s, known for its crispy chicken fingers, signature dipping sauce, and Texas toast, has been expanding rapidly across the U.S. and is now eyeing global growth.
The upcoming London branch will mark its first official UK location, bringing the Southern-style comfort food to British fans who’ve long been waiting to try it.
So, for now, you’ll have to keep scrolling past those fake TikToks and keep your cravings in check - the real Cane’s experience is coming, but not until next year.
