The Fall Of The House Of Usher is set to drop on Netflix this week, with one of its cast hailing from the city. Rahul Kohli, who grew up in the northwest of the capital, is one of the stars featured in the new series.

Based on the book by Edgar Allan Poe, the new show will see the dark past of the Usher family come to light. Sudden deaths of the heirs of the family dynasty will see past secrets start to be uncovered.

In the series, which drops on Netflix on Thursday (October 12), Rahul Kohli plays one of the Usher heirs, Leo, who is a video game patron and influencer.

Get to know The House Of Usher Londoner Rahul Kohli

Before making a name for himself on screen, thanks to his familiar roles on iZombie and The Haunting Of Bly Manor, the 37-year-old was a London local.

He grew up in the northwest of the capital and went to school in Northolt before attending college in Uxbridge. He had his acting start in Ealing while training at The Questors Theatre.

One of his first on-screen roles was also set in his home city. In Kohli's early career, he starred in an episode of EastEnders.

A self-tape filmed in the city helped the actor bag one of his bigger roles in The Haunting Of Bly Manor. In an interview with Vogue India, Kohli said he recorded along with the help of his mum.
