Post Malone Tottenham Hotspur cancelled: This weekend's shows rescheduled due to tube strikes
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has confirmed Post Malone’s two shows this weekend have been rescheduled due to the planned Tube strikes.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was set to host Post Malone for two massive shows this weekend, but due to the upcoming Tube strikes in London both shows have now been rescheduled.
The Sunflower hitmaker was set to perform for capital fans at the north London spot this Sunday (September 7) and Monday (September 8).
However, during both concert days, the Tube union RMT has confirmed its members will go on strike over pay and working conditions.
The Sunday 7 September show will now take place on Saturday September 20 while the Monday September 8 show will move to Sunday September 21.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium confirmed Post Malone’s two shows have been rescheduled in a statement on its website today (September 5) just days before the concerts were expected to take place.
The venue wrote: “We’re sorry to announce that, due to planned industrial action on the London Underground, the two Post Malone concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium cannot take place this Sunday & Monday.
“Without a Tube service, it’s impossible to get people to the concert and home again safely, and therefore no event licence can be granted for the nights of 7th and 8th September.”
