This weekend Londoners came out in their thousands to attend fireworks displays across the capital to celebrate Bonfire Night.
Bonfire Night takes place on November 5 every year, marking the date Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament and King James I in the Gunpowder Plot in 1605.
Dazzling light shows were held across London from Alexandra Palace to Battersea Park to Wimbledon.
While many Londoners attended fireworks displays over the weekend, it was possible to view the beautiful displays from the warmth and comfort at home.

Occasionally dubbed the “Glastonbury of Fireworks”, Ally Pally’s Fireworks Festival is more than a mere pyrotechnics display.
