The east end of the capital takes centre stage of Netflix’s new The Gentlemen series after Theo James’s character the Duke of Halstead, Eddie Horniman inherit’s his father’s crime empire based there.

A spin off from Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, the series offers a different story while still being based in the same fictional world.

London features in the eight episode series after the estranged son of an English aristocrat, Eddie finds his father’s sizable estate is part of an industrial drug empire in the east end.

Unsurprisingly a few locations in the east of the city were used for filming for the series. Here are some of the capital spots Londoners may recognise in the Netflix The Gentlemen series.

Magazine London, Greenwich

The industrial style interiors of the Greenwich based events venue Magazine London were transformed to portray a boxing ring for an illegal fight. 

Printworks, Rotherhithe

Nightclub Printworks, which is currently temporarily closed, was another city spot that was used as a boxing arena in The Gentlemen Netflix series.

The Reform Club, London

The grand three-story building in London's Pall Mall has a brief cameo in the series as Theo James’s character has a meeting at a members club.
