London is at the heart of Netflix’s new film Scoop, which follows the lead up to Prince Andrew’s infamous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview.

The capital is the backdrop of the story as the film sees the Newsnight team try and succeed in securing an interview with the royal figure.

While some of London’s most iconic sights including the regal residence of Buckingham Palace and the bright screens of Piccadilly Circus are both highlighted throughout the film, city locals may also recognise some other London spots.

Here’s where Netflix's Scoop was filmed around London.

London Palladium

The Soho Grade II* West End theatre briefly features in Scoop as the Newsnight team seek approval from the BBC’s Director General to push forward with the interview with Prince Andrew.

Battersea Park

Battersea locals may have also recognised the area’s park one of the London green spaces that was featured in the Netflix film.

Mile End Park

Mile End Park in Tower Hamlets was another of the outdoor London filming locations used in Scoop. The borough confirmed it hosted filming last year as it rounded some of the other film and TV projects that had production in the area.

The vintage looking Russel Square spot makes a cameo in the film as Sam McCallister, played by Billie Piper, invites the then private secretary to Prince Andrew for a discreet drink away from Buckingham Palace.
