Some of London’s most famous landmarks were lit up on Wednesday evening (April 23) to celebrate a century of McVitie’s beloved chocolate digestive.

The well known confectionary brand first launched its chocolate digestive offering in 1925 and over the last 10 decades it has become a favourable tea dipping biscuit for many brits.

To honour its 100th anniversary McVitie’s projected a special display across the London Eye and Tower Bridge as well as the nearby County Hall using both cutting edge Hologauze and projection technology.

While a large-scale chocolate digestive was framed by the London Eye, bursting balloons, fireworks and confetti were projected on both Tower Bridge and County Hall.

McVitie’s also plans to continue the celebrations in London early next month with a special one-of-a-kind concept store.
