Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) has announced a special, one-night-only show at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall. The genre-bending artist will follow in the footsteps of the greatest musicians of all time in taking to the London venue’s 152-year old stage this spring, fresh from the release of his No.1 album Mainstream Sellout.

The American artist, whose real name is Colson Barker, will join legendary counterculture names in headlining the historic venue, with past rock headliners including The Beatles and Rolling Stones sharing a bill, Pink Floyd supporting Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. MGK will perform at the Royal Albert Hall after completing a major arena tour across North America and Europe.

The Cleveland native finished the US leg of his tour by becoming the first Ohio native to sell out the FirstEnergy Stadium in his hometown – playing to 50,000 fans. MGK released his debut studio album, Lace Up, in 2012, followed by further hip hop releases with General Admissions (2015) and Bloom (2017).

His next album, Tickets to My Downfall, marked a revolutionary left turn to rock/pop punk, going on to become his first album to top the Billboard 200 chart. Matthew Todd, Director of Programming at the Royal Albert Hall, said: “The Hall has been a home for trailblazers, innovators and cultural icons since we opened in 1871.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome MGK later this year, one of the leading artists of his generation and someone that has evolved constantly as the best artists do.”   Here’s everything you need to know about MGK’s performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall and how you can get tickets.
