Luna Outdoor Cinema London review: ‘Summer must-do for Londoners to wrap up the season’

Movie lovers wanting to rewatch timeless classics among fans can come together with Luna Cinema’s screenings up and down the country. The outdoor cinema experience, which took over the capital this summer as well as other spots around the UK, offers film fanatics a chance to watch their fave movies out in the open.
For those who call London home, Luna Cinema has hosted several screenings across the capital this summer in many of the city’s most iconic green spaces. Over the weekend, we went to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, in which Luna Cinema screened the 70s beloved flick Grease.

Hide AdFans of the iconic movie were able to soak up the last of the summer nights as the warmer season wraps up for another year. The outdoor screening offered a memorable viewing of the beloved movie as fans got to see the sunset behind the big screen.
Tucked away from the iconic park and nestled amidst the trees, the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre welcomed a whole host of Grease fans who certainly brought the fun. The 1978 classic had fans singing along all the way throughout, with some having even turned up in costume dressed as the movie’s beloved couple, Sandy and Danny.
With the festivities having kicked off at 7.30pm, the evening wrapped around 10pm, which meant guests could be tucked up in bed before midnight as Baker Street is just a brief stroll from Regent’s Park.
Those wanting to experience the outdoor film fun in the final weeks of the summer in the capital still have a chance as Luna Cinema is next set to take over London’s Wimbledon Park next week. The green space will host three nights of films next weekend.
