London Pride 2024: Date revealed by organisers of annual celebration

London Pride 2024 date revealed just weeks after 2023 event.

The date for London Pride 2024 has been confirmed. The announcement comes weeks after the 2023 event took over the capital.

The 2024 edition is set to take place on June 29.

London Pride is usually held on the Saturday closest to July 1. This honours the inaugural UK Pride rally, which was held on that date in 1972.

As July 1 falls on a Monday next year, June 29 is the closest Saturday. The date last hosted Pride celebrations in the capital in 2013.

Pride In London confirmed the plan on Tuesday (July 18).

The chief executive of Pride in London, Christopher Joell-Deshields, said: "I am thrilled that we are able to announce the highly anticipated date for Pride in London 2024."
