Open to the public on 25th and 26th October 2024, the unique gallery will display pop art-inspired pieces from celebrated artists including:
Nathan Wyburn – a world-renowned food artist, known for his recreations of famous figures and artworks, made entirely out of food.
Luke McConkey – a Liverpool-based artist and graphic designer with a unique pop art style that focuses on bright colour, bold lines, and fun characters. His work draws inspiration from music, games, cartoons, food and just about anything around him.

The gallery is a celebration of Pop Tarts’ namesake. When first launched in the mid-1960s, Pop Tarts were known as “Fruit Scones”.
Inspired by the incredibly popular “pop art” movement of the time, which embodied an ethos of colour, vibrancy and playfulness, the sweet snack was aptly renamed to Pop Tarts.
Visitors to the pop-up gallery will not only have the chance to enjoy the colourful collection of artwork on display, but will also be able to showcase their own artistic flare by creating edible masterpieces, using Pop Tarts as their canvas.
