London Marathon celebrities: Famous faces who have ran the capital race over the years including Gordon Ramsay

As the London Marathon is set to once again host an array of celebrity runners this weekend, we present some of the stars who have ran the capital race in the past.

The 2024 London Marathon which will take place this Sunday (April 21) will see the likes of McFly drummer Harry Judd, ninth Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccleston, comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Masked Singer host Joel Dommett all don their running shoes for the race.

Annually attracting runners from all walks of life, the marathon has seen many stars from across the world of showbiz pounding the pavement to raise money for a good cause.

In the past, big names, including Harry Potter star James Phelps, Wicked actress Cynthia Erivo and radio veteran Chris Evans have all taken on the race in the capital.
