Londoners can dine in a floating igloo overlooking Canary Wharf this festive season

It’s that time of year when cosy igloos pop-up across the city for the holidays and this year some will also take to the water near the capital’s famous waterway.
Skuna Boats has launched a new boat experience in London which gives locals and visitors a chance to enjoy the snugness of an igloo from the water.

Hide AdTraveling around the West India Quay dock, which is close to London’s River Thames, guests will first be given a guided tour of the Canary Wharf area.
Then the igloo moors and guests will be left alone to enjoy a pot of fondue while bopping up and down on the water.
Operating five days a week from Thursday to Monday the experience which is £45 per person will not just be available to book for the festive season.
The igloo boat experience will run into the new year and is accepting bookings until Easter 2025.

Hide AdIt’s also not Skuna’s only boating experience. The company also offers hot tub and BBQ cruises along the West India Quay dock too.
