London Fashion Week September 2024: Should prestigious catwalk shows be 'invite only'?

London Fashion Week is one of the most prestigious events in the social calendar.

The shows, featuring some of the world’s most famous supermodels and designers, are highly exclusive events.

Securing a seat in the front row is a tremendous honour, bestowed only to members of the global glitterati.

Earlier this year stars including Lily James, Joanna Lumley, Tilda Swinton, and Nicola Coughlan were spotted in attendance.

But is it right to keep such talent hidden behind closed doors or should the public be allowed to see it?

We asked Londoners if the catwalk should remain a sacred space for the stars or whether mere mortals should be allowed to peek behind the curtain.
