The Hollywood star is reported to use an unconventional transport method to venture around the city.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s travel around the capital has made headlines this week, the environmentalist eschewing the Tube, bicycles and even e-scooters.

DiCaprio is no stranger to London and often visits the city. Over the weekend, the actor was spotted visiting one of his beloved spots, the luxury Chiltern Firehouse hotel.

Last week, he was also reported to have been in town amid London Fashion Week and was spotted attending the British Vogue x Moncler Vogue World party at The George in Mayfair.

While TfL offers travel via boat, tube and bus, it’s unlikely Londoners will spot DiCaprio on their public transport journey. Instead, reported the A-lister opts for a more exclusive mode of transport.

As reported by The Sun, DiCaprio has allegedly used the car of an Ivory Coast diplomat when visiting the city in recent weeks. While diplomat motors are not exempt from the law, the driver will have diplomatic immunity under the Vienna Convention, meaning smaller traffic offences such as speeding may be ignored.

Diplomatic vehicles are also exempt from the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) even if they fail to meet emission standards.
