LCD Soundsystem

Launched in 2002, LCD Soundsystem, led by James Murphy, released a string of acclaimed singles ahead of their self-titled debut - including the signature song Losing My Edge and the Daft Punk Is Playing At My House.

Sophomore album Sound of Silver (2007) put LCD Soundsystem at the head of a 'neo-disco' scene but tracks like New York I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down showed a softer side. The song All My Friends was named by Pitchfork as the second greatest song of the 2000s.

Over the years the band became a big live draw around the world. After a 2011 Madison Square Garden 'farewell show' they reformed and returned in 2017 with American Dream.

Jai Paul

Despite recording a demo of the single BTSTU as far back as 2007, British-Indian singer Jai Paul. from Rayners Lane in London, did not perform live until 2023. His two London shows met with great critical reception including NME, which reported: “It’s hard to overstate quite how good Paul’s voice actually sounds live. There’s the echo and reverb we’ve come to expect from the records, but hearing is believing.”

Pixies

Pixies, originally from Boston, are one of the most influential bands in alternative rock, with albums including Surfer Rosa and Doolittle showcasing classic singles such as Here Comes Your Man, Where Is My Mind? and Monkey Gone To Heaven.

Floating Points

Electronica fusion act Floating Points - aka Sam Shepherd - released debut album Elaenia in 2015, including making Pitchfork’s Best New Music and being named Resident Advisor’s Album of the Year. Also a composer, Shepherd has created music with the likes of Gnawa musician Mahmoud Guinia while his 16-piece Floating Points Ensemble, honoured by Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards, brings the club to the concert hall. 2021's Promises was a collaboration with jazz legend Pharoah Sanders and the London Symphony Orchestra.
