BST Hyde Park promoters have confirmed Lana Del Rey will perform in the capital this weekend despite fan speculation on social media. The songstress will take to the stage in front of London crowds on Sunday (July 9).

The Young And Beautiful hitmaker’s appearance is just days away, with the support acts having only just been announced today (July 4). After a Glastonbury performance which saw the singer come on late and the set get cut, fans have begun to raise fears on social media of a cancellation.

But a spokesperson for the music event’s promoter confirmed on Tuesday (July 4) Del Rey "certainly is" still set to take to the BST Hyde Park’s The Great Oak stage on Sunday.

On Monday, Del Rey’s manager, Ben Mawson, shared his excitement for her upcoming BST performance. In a post on his Instagram stories, he wrote: "Excited 4 Sunday @ Hyde Park." In the same upload, Mawson went on to assure fans that support acts for the Born To Die artist would also be "announced soon".

Full lists of support artists have already been confirmed for BST Hyde Park’s other weekend headliners, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. The festival has now announced the full support line up for Del Ray’s Sunday show.
