King’s Guard honour Ozzy Osbourne in London with a musical tribute outside Buckingham Palace

The King’s Guard honoured Ozzy Osbourne with a musical tribute outside Buckingham Palace.

During the Changing of the Guard on Wednesday (July 30), the King’s Guard paid a special musical tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.

Following the news of the heavy metal icon’s passing aged 76 last week on July 22, one of Black Sabbath’s biggest hits was performed during the ceremony in his honour.

A video of the tribute set outside Buckingham Palace shows the King’s Guards in their distinctive red tunics and fluffy bearskin caps while playing a brass band version of the track Paranoid.

The same song returned to UK Top 40 music charts following Ozzy Osbourne's death. It was also the final song Osbourne performed with Black Sabbath at their historic Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park at the start of July.
